Yay! Finally got around to acquiring my own domain, after forty eight years, thank God. What made me do it? There is an opportunity that I have stumbled upon which are only available for those with their own domain, and reliable sources tell me that there are a lot more benefits to this than sticking with a free one. And, I’m pretty gullible, so. Plus, friends have been bugging me to get one for the longest time now. So this is also to end their insistent demands.

Why WordPress? I have been a Blogger user for some time now, and their features got boring after a while. Not that I have anything really bad against Blogger. I think the platform is really easy to use. But all the same, I’m really excited about what WP has to offer, and I have heard good things about it, so what’s left is for me to explore it. I just wish someone was sponsoring this purchase, as WP charges way more annually than Blogger does. *hint, hint*

Anyway, see the layout? Augh :shakehead: . I know. Blah. It looks like . But just until I finish making a template design for this (which will take a looong time, I tell you. Me and my secret lover, Photoshop are just starting to know each other) . Yes. I want to do this on my own . I want to learn things (imagine, at this point in time) that I should have learned a decade ago, but I was so busy capturing my husband’s heart that it was set aside until now. I was young, what can I do?

Oh I just wish I could actually do it. I mean I already have a hell lot of work to do in order for this site to be in top condition, let alone make it look presentable visually. I’d have to go on an online directory spree once again, something I look forward to as much as I look forward to hearing about Rihanna’s love life and her being “pregnant”. But I will do my own template layout. Even if it takes two years. Don’t distract me now. I’m on a mission here.

So what’s this site’s difference from my Blogger hosted blog, RandomWAHMThoughts? Errmm.. That I still have to figure out. Hehe. But seriously, I might fill it with my take on online :kaching: activities that I have tried so far. I still have to wait three months, though, for this domain to qualify for most of those activities. I might as well use those waiting time to up my Alexa ranking and mess with my design template. I’ll also be making a button for this site to occupy my time. Shoot. I have a lot of stuff to do. :confused: 

There. The first ever post is over and done with. Whew. Just please ignore the hideous layout as of now and we’ll be alright.
