Earn $20 in 5 Hours

I posted earlier here about how we can earn $20 at the Internet Marketing Report Card (IMRC) site within three hours and how a month or so back, international members were blanket-banned (meaning certain regions were banned altogether regardless if you were just out to get a quick buck at IMRC or have provided value to the community. Yeah, I know, unfair. But IMRC has redeemed themselves by putting excellent measures in place and letting international members in again!

BUT. Only those worthy international members who can contribute to the good of the community will actually be able to go in. As above-mentioned, IMRC has placed stricter rules to be followed, which prevents anyone from trying to game the system. Measures like time out (when you’re grading too fast) and following a certain ratio (so you can only grade a certain number of products/people/services/biz opps if you’ve reached a certain number of comments or have been a member of the site for a certain number of days or how your reviews are graded by other community members). Strict, eh? They won’t even disclose how the ratio is calculated. Which is another clever measure against those who want to get away by scheming the system.

So with the time out and the ratio and all, you cannot possibly get $20 in three hours now. Realistically, you should be able to reach payout after five to six straight hours of busying yourself at the site. WHICH is not advisable. You’d go mad trying to gain those points in ONE sitting. So I suggest do it in two (or three) days. You maintain your sanity and you’d get your $20. Not bad, right? If you knew enough internet marketing products/people/services/biz opps you can get away with at least $150 a month. Now we’re talking.

You need a recap of how the site works? Okay. It is important to note that the site only lists Internet marketing-specific products and services and the people behind it, plus two new sections, called Bizz Opps and Others (PTC, survey sites and the link go in this category). So if you’re not into the whole earning online scheme of things, the site is not for you. On a second thought, I found several web hosting companies listed there that you can review, so you might just want to check the site out. In order to get paid, you have to accumulate at least 2,000 points (equivalent to $20). So here is currently how you can earn points with IMRC:

Rate a Review or another users’ comment 1 Credit
Grade a Product, Service, Person or Biz-Opp 10 Credits
Add your own comment to any review 50/100/150 Credits + *Bonus*
Suggest a new product, service, etc. for review 75 Credits
Refer another user to IM Report Card Whatever THEY earn!

You should also note that in order to cash out, 25% of your points should be reviews. So that basically computes to 10 reviews (500 points) out of the 2,000 points that you will earn. 10 reviews might sound a lot, but the minimum is 50 words a review, so that’s not at all difficult to achieve. And yes, I don’t EVER write about an online earning site without me having proof that I was already paid. So here are the screenshots.

New! Link From Blog Site

When you hear about a site promising you that you’ll earn a thousand bucks amount from them, you HAVE to try it, right? See if it’s worth your time? Well Link From Blog promises just that. Of course I’m interested to see  if it’s true. Don’t we all? Anyway, Link From Blog is a new pay-to-post site that looks promising (at least to my eye) and already has several advertisers lined up waiting on bloggers to bid on their projects. I haven’t bid on any, YET, because I’m still in the process of familiarizing myself with the interface and reading the whole of the F.A.Q. but the current offers are quite reasonable. It COULD be better, but hey, let’s cut them some slack. They ARE new, after all. I know more offers will come after a week or two of the site’s existence, so here’s crossing my fingers for that.

I am not gonna lie and say that yes, they indeed keep their promises because I have only found out about this site today and decided to add my other blog and my Twitter account a couple of hours ago. They say they give bonuses (the amount of which depends on a number of factors) and guess what. They’ve already credited my account with $5. No screen shot now, though. I have to wait till I reach $50 in order to cash out to my PayPal account, which is the proof that I want to give you (more believable, me thinks), so watch out for that. What I am leaving with you now is the knowledge that there is another site like Link From Blog who gives us bloggers more writing opportunities that we can grab for extra money on the side. Why don’t we all give it a try, eh? You never know.

Heeere’s Denise’s New Layout!

Yay! After being MIA for almost a month, we finally finished Denise’s blog design! Oh dear gawd, I’m afraid to look at it in IE. That browser always bashes my dreams. Ha ha. And every time I make a new layout, the more I realize how browser compatibility can be such a pain in the ass especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. LOL. Anyways, drop by her site and leave her some love if you please. I think we did a good job out of it, considering how I still don’t get much of that HTML stuff going around in there and how my creative juices have dried up in the twenty days that my brain turned into jelly over too much watching cartoons. LOL. Screenshot is below. You can click it and will take you to her blog. Go on. Click. You know you want to. Next! :D

WPDesigner.com Review

Disclaimer: The following is a paid review. The views expressed on this post are mine, though.

I haven’t visited WPDesigner in a long time, and I was surprised at the vast addition of resources at the site. I used to frequent it for the excellent free WordPress themes that the author offers, but those were the times when I was a WP noob and stupidly changed themes once a new one came out. (I now later found out that it’s not advisable if I want to build a blog identity, so). I haven’t caught up, which was a loss, I now realize. And for those who haven’t caught wind about the latest from the site like I do, here’s what’s new: a section on the right hand navigation full of web hosting resources.

I swear the guy never ceases to amaze me. He can’t just stop at being the genius that he is in making WP themes. No sir. He also has to gain extra brownie points for helping us out by giving us chock-full of information about the utterly confusing (yet uber) important task of picking a web host. If he had published those articles say, a month earlier, I would have been spared the agony of wracking my brains out thinking of what web hosting company to trust my soul, errrr, this blog to. But hey, I’ve accepted a long time ago that I was not born lucky.

Going back to the site, his latest post about the 10 BEST web hosting companies should help out a lot of new webmasters out there. Yeah, so there are a lot of other lists on the internet claiming they have compiled a list of the best web hosting companies but guess what, they are, more often that not, owned by the TOP web host on the list (shameless self-promotion, BAD) and the reviews don’t seem real (like they came out of Microworkers or something. Ehem.). While here’s a guy, straight as an arrow (and cute, despite an attempt at hiding his profile faces by putting ridiculous drawn accessories over them), offering the same advice BUT 100% unbiased.

I can’t find where he got the price for GoDaddy though. It’s only $4.79 last time I checked, but it may have changed in the meantime. But hey, I’m not complaining here. The reviews he did about each and everyone of the ten in the list are very thorough, and believable (because of the fact that I know fellow bloggers who are under those web hosts and asked them if they agree with the reviews. They do.) The “Eaze-of-Use” phrase on the post hurt my eyes, me being a retired proofreader and all, but I bet you’ll find spelling (and grammatical) errors littering my every post as well so I’m not gonna hold it against him. He’s still cute. And he still has one of the most helpful and gorgeous (calm sophistication, that’s what comes to mind when viewing the site) blogs on the web.
