I usually don’t say no to helping out a friend, and this time it’s Niko who has a noble intention in mind for coming forward and asking for our help. George Daniel Arevalo Samson, the five-month old son of Niko’s high school friend Clarissa has biliary atresia with cirrhosis and is in immediate need of liver transplant. The operation has never been done in the Philippines and the doctor’s advice is to go to Taiwan for the cheapest operation which will cost roughly Three Million Pesos ($60,000).
