My WebDev God

Mike Mamaril. He is. If I even had one-eighth of this guy’s drive and webdev skills, I’d be swimming in money by now. I’d be that snazzy, uber rich girl you read about on interviews left and right in top web development blogs, all asking for my wise advice. Anyway, back to earth. He is Pehpot’s male counterpart, I’d go as far as that. Only, thrice more tenacious. He blogs, he is a programmer (three jobs, if I remember it right), he works out, he draws (at least, used to), he’s into photography, he writes poems. Plus, he’s actually nice. Entertaining stupid questions from me. Call him jack of all trades. I call him unbelievably true.

Unfortunately, trying to keep up with his ferocious moxie is like climbing Mount Everest. Backwards. Upside down. Blind-folded (nah. that’s too far-fetched.) Hah. Beat that. Honestly, every time I look at his portfolio, I feel so puny in comparison. But I guess he’s just going to say to me, “That’s not the attitude to have in life.” And of course he would be completely right. It’s sort of unsettling, having a guy always getting it right. :haha:  So I just (unsuccessfully) try to keep in mind his mottoes in life if I want to get anywhere near his level:

• Make money with the least amount of effort possible.
• If you’re gonna do something, do it right!
• If you want something done right, do it yourself.
• What comes around, goes around.
• Rule #1: The boss is ALWAYS RIGHT

Rule #2: if the boss is wrong read rule #1.

• The simpler, the better.

If it’s legal (or even remotely possible) to marry someone’s brain, I’d marry his in a jiff. Although I doubt Fedhz would want to share him. I mean, if somebody else even dares to think of marrying Paulie’s brain, I’d beat the crap outta that woman (or gay. whatever). :tongue: Okay so I take that back. I don’t want to marry Mike’s brain anymore lest Fedhz turns me into gelatinous mass of raw, quivering protoplasm. Plus I value what we have, girl. So yeah. I take that back. :biggrin:
