Bingkee’s Praise Blog
I have this primitive notion that religious people are very timid and only have syrupy sweet things to day about everything. So imagine my surprise when I was reading Viviene’s main blog and was led to her Blogspot-hosted blog Praise God With All My Heart to find a different side of her, not like the very candid critic that I was reading just moments ago. Here in her praise blog I was suddenly hauled into a peaceful and introspective place far removed from the noisy atmosphere that is characteristic of most of our blogs today.
It’s like having an internal check, a moment of silence with just her numerous articles, all directed at lifting God’s name and praising His greatness. I’m honestly not a religious person, and I expected to squirm at Bingkee’s writings expecting that this would be another one of those blogs that shoves religion down your throat. But that was not the case. All the entries I’ve read so far can only be described as inspirational. Most feature songs and videos (like this one which I find really moving) she shares which has influenced her in one way or another, which you can just listen to and feel a moment of peace.
