Knowing Makoyskie
Mark Ferdinand Tayag (a.k.a. Makoyskie) certainly knows how to maximize his site. I have never seen anyone to date going so far as organizing his blog categories into subdomains like him. It’s actually a good thing, as it allows him to change the design of the site according to its topic. Plus the readers will know exactly where to go should they want to have a dose of, say, the latest entertainment news. The arts, food, music, entertainment, fashion, health, you name it, he’s blogged about it. So to say that he is the jack of all trades would be describing him perfectly. On top of that, he also blogs about his experiences as a Filipino living and working for almost a year and a half already in sunny Singapore, and posts recipes that he has tried to cook himself. I ask you, what does this guy not do? But, like many OFWs abroad, his homesickness sometimes gets the better of him. I haven’t gone anywhere away from my family (and can’t imagine doing so), but I understand how that must feel. Knowing Filipino friends from there (like Jade, who also lives in Singapore) and living with a Filipino family must somehow ease that, but still, it’s not the same as having your own family around you all the time. Visiting Makoyskie’s blog once in a while will certainly make him happy, so let’s all do that.
