A Movie Maniac Miser

We’ve been marathoning movies for the past months like our lives depended on it. My sister and cousin who was here the last two weeks also are movie addicts, so they added to the list of our already long list of must-watch. Have I told you the last time I was inside a movie theater was six years ago when Jeepers Creepers 2 came out? I’m a movie addict but somehow I get contented with watching them at home, rather than spending for the movie theater experience. I know. I’m a hopeless miser.

And no, we don’t even have a decent home theater system. We watch them on my desktop, which do not even have a passable computer speaker. Pathetic, right? But I’m certainly not an audiophile, so I can do with crappy sound just as long as you let me watch interesting films. Of course, if our budget is not as tight, my views would be different. Haha. I would be demanding for the best that our money that can afford. A multi-disc DVD player would be complete heaven, so there would be no need to get up the bed in between movies. Hee hee. We can then gorge ourselves with hours and hours of great movies. If there is something for the house that I would buy, it would definitely be a kosher home theater system, so that we may enjoy our viewing experience better.
