My Undiscovered Gem
I’ve read a lot about Seiko the past months but somehow have never gotten around to knowing her better like some of my other friends know her. I’ve visited her blog several times before because she participates in marce Niko’s weekly meme but it’s just me and my poor time management skills that keeps me from visiting other fellow mommy bloggers like her.
I’ve come to learn that she’s introspective, and blogs about stuff that makes you go “Hmmm.. She is right. Why didn’t I think of it that way before?” Maybe it comes from the fact that she’s been through a lot in her life and has five kids already that makes her as wise as she is now. I hate to say “wise” because somehow the word feels old to me, but reading through her blog it’s the quick adjective that comes to mind.
I was surprised that she grew up in Mandaluyong, because along with her name, she looks so Japanese in her profile picture. But I guess I still have to know her better to find out that she is still a Filipina at heart, someone who is very comfortable just being herself, someone who is just waiting for me to discover, for me to learn so much from, and to learn so much more about.
I met Marce Seiko thru Mommy moments and she seemed to be the friend of everbody kaya nakakaintriga…
