Stalking Vladimyr

I didn’t expect Stalking Minds to be a personal blog, if first impressions were to be based on. I thought it was a technology blog of some sort, because of the blog design. But what greeted me as the latest post is a screenshot of his son Klashnicov’s (isn’t it cute how they both have Russian-sounding names, much like my own daughter’s name, Svetlana. Hee hee) report card, which made me realize that the site is, in fact, a personal blog. And a daddy blog, at that. Here and there are product reviews which are very detailed, Google Doodles for whatever Google is celebrating that time, payment proofs from sites that he is earning from, accounts of losing his 4 (yes, four!) cellphones, and well, basically everything that you can find in most mommy blogs (except the losing cellphones part. ).

Which made me admire this man. Not a lot of guys devote their time blogging about spending time with their kids. Most just boast of their newly acquired gadgets, or talk about their work, everything but the mushy side of life. Overall, I found the site contents endearing. There aren’t that many dad blogs out there that radiate the love that they have for their children, and Vladimyr’s site is one of the few. I wish the template had a happier feel though, because the contents certainly have that aura.
