Bill Gates, that is. Naveen Jain, ranked by Forbes as one of the four hundred richest people of America back in 2000, may be one of the few people who dares to claim that, which further fueled the comparisons between Jain And Gates. Born and raised in India, he was employed by Microsoft as Program Manager for seven years until 1996, but he left  the computer giant to establish his own company (InfoSpace, which provides private-label Internet search and metasearch services). He left his CEO post at InfoSpace in 2002 but remained on its board of directors until a little less than five years ago. He served briefly on the board of directors of Freei (an online service provider). One year after leaving InfoSpace, this self-assured technology graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee founded another business, which is Intelius (a public records company which takes care of background and criminal checks, as well as people searches, for a fee), and to date is still the chief executive officer of it.
