Who Is Alexander von Furstenberg?

Some people are famous in their own right. Some people become popular because their family name precedes them. While some people, like Alexander von Furstenberg, are a combination of both. With both parents being famed fashion designers (his mom being Diane von Fürstenberg who is credited for the timeless wrap dress), Alexander has managed to make his own name in circles where it mattered. Although not exactly mainstream popular, he has already made his mark in the world by serving as Director and Secretary of The Diller – von Furstenberg Family Foundation, an organization involved in numerous charitable causes. Alexander has also been instrumental in bringing back the Diane von Furstenberg Studio, LP brand into its feet.

He has also recently donated to support one of Heal the Bay’s beach water quality program. Being an ocean lover himself, he did not hesitate to extend his help to the program that aims at analyzing and maintaining the coastline water quality in California. Currently, Alexander is involved with Arrow Capital Management, LLC, serving as its chief investment officer and one of its co-managing member. He was once married to Alexandra Natasha Miller, whom he had two children with (Talita Natasha and Tassilo Egon Maximilian), and is now engaged to Ali Kay, who owns the KeepMe (a clothing company).
