Second Angioplasty
I just learned that a friend of my mom’s (who also helped us out a lot when I was still on mTurk) who lives in Los Angeles had his second angioplasty procedure. The term itself scares me, and I prayed dearly for his safety when stenting and angioplasty was first performed on him. Now, just several months later, he went under the knife yet again and I didn’t even hear about it until after the operation, when he told me that yes, he was on his second angioplasty but is already recovering. I’m not a doctor so I don’t know the hazards of having to undergo that procedure twice in a short span of time, but what I do know is that medical care in the US do not come cheap. I inquired if he had a health savings account and he said yes, to which I was able to breathe a small sigh of relief.
He added me on Facebook a while ago, a sign that he must be feeling really better. I know that being thousands of miles away, all I can do is chat with him whenever I can and update him on what’s happening here in his native land. I am wondering yet again why of all people, he has to go through what he has gone through in his life. He is just about the most giving and humorous person I know. I guess I’ll just have to trust Him, that He has plans for us that we might not see very clearly now. Please help me pray for his full recovery. Thank you.

mahal talaga pag medical services. pag meron kang health care insurance or health savings account, di mo masyado ma-feel ung financial implications. pero pag wala kang ganun, maloloka ka sa mahal ng bills mo!
so sorry to hear about that..he shall be in my prayer list..hope he’ll recuperate soon..I’m not really familiar with that “angioplasty”…

pero buti na lang may savings sya noh. at least may ngamit sya. yan ang problema dito sa atin, walang savings for health

angioplasty what? naku, di ko rin alam anong meaning nyan… lol!

my friend not saving at all she depend on her parents to give her money. I tell her to save and she not happy with me.
