BC Bloggers’ Party – Get to Know Me

This is my post for the BC Bloggers’ Party, brought about by Paula’s scary announcement that the deadline is tonight. Wahahaha! As with all posts that involve divulging who I am as a person, I am at loss for words in the early draft stage. Which says a lot about how interesting I am as a person. Tee hee. Should I blog about my preschool achievements here? Nope, I’ll pass. I think I just heard groans reverberating throughout the blogosphere. So let’s start.

I am known as K or Kaye by my blog friends (except for marce Fedhz who frequently calls me by my real name, Karina), a WAHM (which means Work-At-Home Mom, if by any unbelievable chance you still don’t know) who lives in Baguio City (transient rooms available. LOL.) and proud member of the Marce Club (a club founded by none other than the wondermom marce Pehpot, whose members are all ninangs [godmothers] of one of Pehpot’s army of children. Niahaha! Since this isn’t Pehpot’s post, I’ll let her clarify that army thing. LOL). So this is me:

Obviously, I posted something of me which looks decent (read: product of a virtual makeover), so don’t expect me to look like that when we meet accidentally on the street or on a blog event. But the real me looks a little like that, so. Bwahaha. I am 25 years old, turning a year older this July. I have a daughter, the reason why I am a WAHM, and her name is Svetlana. Yes, mother and daughter have Russian-sounding names (but Spanish-sounding surnames. I know. Crazy family). I live with my bestfriend and partner in crime life, Paulie, who is a stay-at-home dad at the moment, so he takes care of Svet while I am working. Here they are:

I am resident blog designer and banner creator extraordinaire of the Marce club and I’m working my way to have my name and link at the footer of every mom blog on the Internet.Tee hee. Seriously. This is what I do for a living, design Blogger and WordPress blogs, make badges and banners for anyone needing them, and write for my blogs (and others’ blogs as a ghost writer) in order to put food on the family table. Not a lot of income to boast about, but hey, I’m happy with what I do.

If you are a potential stalker, I’ll make your obsession easy for you. I can also be found at my other blogs, Random WAHM Thoughts and Beauty Queen Gene, have an account with Twitter (which I rarely update nowadays save for my blog feeds) and Facebook and is currently on the building stage of my Portfolio Site which will house all the designs I’ve made so far and where I will entertain inquiries about and orders for my blog design service. I will be rolling out pretty soon, so watch out for that. Yes, shameless self-promotion at its best. I LOVE EEEET! Hahahaha!

You know, for someone at loss for words, I think this is a pretty long post. LOL. Go figure.
