Okay, maybe hate is too strong a word, but at the very least, I don’t like them. Or any fruit or food that has the same texture. All my childhood friends ate aratiles with great relish, while I stood at the side, barfing. I also don’t like pears, they don’t have small seeds but I don’t really like its rough, gritty texture. Thank God Svet doesn’t take after me. She’s a fruit-lover (and vegetables, too!), that girl.
It’s quite unfortunate that I don’t fancy eating strawberries because it can be quite cheap here during its season. Better for Svet, because she doesn’t have to share with anyone (Paulie’s not a huge fan, too, but he can stand them better). Strawberry jams which are common here also have no use for me. I can stand strawberry-flavored ice cream, though, but not too much.
Am I the only weird person in the world who dislikes them?
