Joy Mendiola of Occasions of Joy was a surprise client. Well, not really a surprise because Pehpot already told me that Joy is interested in me doing a blog makeover for her. Joy was here in Baguio last December when she gave me a call asking if we could meet. Unfortunately, our schedules (or rather, my) did not allow us to, but we still pushed through with her design. She wanted something that would speak for her domain name, so I immediately thought it would need a colorful design.
The outcome was a bit different than what she originally wanted, seeing how the design and coding makes much more sense with the final output. I’m pleased though that she liked what she saw, and even more pleased that when I go back at the site to look at it, the design emits the joy that the author wants her readers to feel while staying at the site.
