Now what is a photography blog review doing in a non-photography blog? Much worse, on a blog by someone who, given the best angle would manage to make a lousy shot out of it? But hey, a great photographer deserves as much exposure as he can get, and Nick Ray is certainly that and more. Even my highly untrained eye can see how gorgeous Ray takes wedding pictures, and how passionate he is in his trade really shows with every endearing shot. Now photographers like him, make me want to get married, if only for the photographs that will come with it. Seriously.

For a wedding photographer, Nick Ray’s qualifications are among the most impressive I’ve seen. And I’ve looked, believe me. I’ve been stalking photography blogs the past few days just gazing in awe at how amazing the pictures are because in my heart, I know I want to learn photography. And what better way to start learning than studying a pro’s work? Based in London, Nick Ray has spend the last decade working for the prestigious The Times newspaper, and has been assigned to work on numerous parts of the globe to give the readers a view of what’s happening visually.

Being a blog designer who is slowly conquering her love for cluttered designs, I immediately fell in love with the simplicity of his site. It is packed full of information regarding his qualifications and why you need (note the word: need. Not only want, but need. The guy is that good.) to work with Ray for your wedding pictures. It also has links to several sites which can potentially make your wedding planning stages so much easier. And of course, his simply amazing portfolio. There aren’t a lot of photographers who can make me mushy just by looking at wedding pictures. Well Ray can.

So yes. If you are in London and are on the lookout for someone who will take your wedding pictures and do a fantastic job off of it, look no further. Nick Ray is the perfect man for the job.
