Me and Peh have known each other for years, but tend to avoid each other when it comes to blog design because we’re poles apart when it comes to tastes in colors and elements. The first time I attempted to design her blog was disastrous, so we agreed to have her design the headers herself and then I’ll just code the rest of the theme, taking the colors that she used on her header as the main colors of the template. And so it was that way ever since between us.
Until she got tired of her old blogs’ look and decided that it’s time for a redesign. She was, as usual, her minimalistic self. Good thing I’ve been struggling really hard to start on graphic-less designs lately, so we somehow met in the middle when I made her Tech Pehpot blog. The base I used is Headway, and I fell in love with the Impact font for use as headings in this project. The outcome was something Peh and I both love. A rare occurrence, really, if you know us. It made us both want to scream “Hallelujah!” when the design was finished.
