I love doing designs for my marces, and Yami is one of my most frequent customers. Hee hee. I think she intends to have all her designs, which is great because more business for me. LOL. This most recent design is a fun yet functional creation especially suited for marce Yami’s blog theme. Her site topics have evolved from being a mixed bag to focusing on health, something we should all give importance to. I’m glad she made the decision to focus on such niche, and since I rarely design health blogs, it was a challenge for me at first to come up with something from the bits of graphics sitting in my hard drive.
I gave her an initial mockup, which she has was okay. However, upon looking again at the mockup I sent, I decided it was too bland and says nothing about what her blog was about. It does not feel like a health blog to me, more like an ordinary personal blog with a forgettable design. So I went 360° on the design and I’m glad how it turned out. Want to see how it looks live?
