I have long been telling my mom to start blogging already. She can, after all, write pretty good pieces if and when she wants. It would be a good way to document her thoughts as a mom and as a grandmother. So I purchased her own domain for her and hosted it in my blog, designed it several weeks later, and hoped for the best.
I have subscribed to her feeds through email so I’ll immediately know if she publishes something new. Although I would’ve liked for her to publish posts more frequently, I know I’m just going to have to content myself with the several articles that she’s made so far, and the fact that she doesn’t forget her blog login details anymore. Hallelujah!
Each time I read her blog, I cry a little lot. I know I have the best mom in the entire universe, but seeing her put it into a blog for posterity is just precious. I don’t regret that I did all those preparations for her just for her to start blogging. Every word in that blog is worth it. Want to visit my mom and see how cool and wise she is? Hee hee. Don’t say I didn’t warn you about all her posts being tearjerkers!
This is a special project for me because Paulie drew the header on Illustrator and it is so close to reality! Anyone who knows my mom and her grandchildren can easily recognize who’s who in the header. Curious? Click on the screenshot below to visit her!
