New Design: Cut Them Coupons

This is the first time that I’ve done a deals/coupons blog. Well, not the first time as I’ve already designed several before but never one that’s owned by a couple. I think it’s a cute idea, I’ve seen deals blogs maintained by sisters a lot of times in the past, but not a boyfriend-girlfriend tandem. So when the couple behind Cut Them Coupons approached me for the project, I did not hesitate and told them I’d gladly redesign their site for them.

I loved using the ribbon as the navigation items background, and those cute little social networking icon tags hanging above the header. Paulie tweaked the vector guy a bit to make it look like the guy owner of the blog, and I changed the girl’s coloring to fit the actual girl counterpart.
