Everyday, as soon as my daughter wakes up, she jumps straight out of the bed and starts her busy day. All she does is bounce around the house. I doubt if she knows how to walk slowly, because she doesn’t. The only time she doesn’t bounce is when she’s playing with the phone or watching cartoons/YouTube on the laptop.
If I had as much energy packed in a day as that kid and still have more reserved for tomorrow, we’d be filthy rich by now. While I spend my days advising clients either where to look for real estate web hosting or how to optimize their blogs, she runs around the house. Just watching her do that during my break from work exhausts me.
She looks so angelic in the picture, right? But that’s only because her dad caught her playing with the baby powder again. She still has the evidence on her face. I know we give her vitamins, but the one she’s taking (Propan) is made to make kids like her sleepy all the time. Well, good luck with that. Today she didn’t take a nap, but she’s still awake. Thankfully, she’s slowing down a bit by now.
Tomorrow will be another busy day for us.

they are just a bag of unbounded energies, these kids! i also exhaust myself trying to get Jared to sleep, but in the end, after too much prodding, coercing + stressing myself unnecessarily, he’d just roam around the room until he’s exhausted + mum, exhausted many times over….
