I open my Facebook account everyday, immediately after I check all my emails. Sometimes even when I’m just halfway through my accumulated mails when there’s something interesting in the FB email notification. So I log on to Facebook, right, and the first thing I see is a photo of something gross.
Really? Start my day seeing something incredibly gag-inducing? Thanks, but no thanks. Unfortunately, some Facebook people think it’s cool to share those types of photos, and doubly unfortunate is Facebook’s default arrangement of their News Feed, which is the most popular goes first.
Yeesh. Google Plus is getting more and more attractive by day. I have lost a number of “friends” on FB because I immediately de-friend those guilty of ruining my appetite for the day. If I could hurl a box of thrust bearings on the head of anyone else who will dare to do that, I would. I seriously would. Sadly, you cannot do that online. Much less in real life.
Sometimes I wish I just live blissfully unaware under a rock, with no stupid FB friends who think posting gross pictures is the new cool.

honestly, I have tries deactivating my FB account. and I was successful, for a month:D kaso nga, I need to connect with my friends and relatives who are working abroad, kaya no choice, balik ulit:D bwahahaha
Love hate! Sometimes I wish it too… am I strong enough, I wonder? LoL. Trivial hahaha. What little angst we bring upon ourselves. Such is the bane of FB… it’s distraction and attraction rolled into one.

I have the same dilemma except that mine is not really gag-inducing. Yung porn na post tapos mukang certified manyak pa yung nag-post. unfriend agad yan. Kung same old man ang FB, not a good reason para gawing porn site itey, tama?
nakakita na rin ako ng pron photo sa ibang account ko. eeww talaga. ganun talaga mga tao lahat ng mapuntahan hinahaluan ng porn
but recently i noticed decline in FB mails, like the group notification and replies…maybe the mails can be deactivated or filtered…ewan ko din…
you have the option naman to turn off the notifications.
i dont really like FB as much as I used to. I do more updates via Twitter actually.

Facebook is also part of my regular routine, I check it after browsing thru my mails, too. Luckily, I have not encountered a photo such as that + am crossing my fingers that I won’t ever!
I guess it will be lonely without it, as I only keep in touch with friends online, the prize of being a full time stay-at-home mom….
facebook is a way for all of us especially family and friends to be connected

I’ve seen unpleasing photos too. pero dedma lang basta wala sa profile ko.
as much as possible, i dont update FB with my personal pics and events anymore.
can’t really get facebook out of my system, especially that I am able to sell my products through it.
true, facebook is a good marketing tool.
I update my FB only those things that I think are just perfectly right for public consumption, lol..
facebook is okay without the eeww stuff that people are posting, besides that even if fb is preventing all online stuff that I have to finish, I live it still because it keeps me connected and updated to all my friends.

Tambay din ako sa Facebook… lagi nga ako nasisita ng mister ko kasi yung mga pinapagawa nya di ko natatapos hahaha…. ang dahilan ko na lang kasi sa FB ako nakakakuha ng DA lol
