Marce Kikamz’ New Layout!

I’m always delighted to work with someone I love, and this time around it’s my marce Kikamz, who just bought a new domain for herself a couple of months ago, and named it Cups and Lowercase. Her request was simple, for the header to have a bird’s eye view of a cup and a keyboard. I knew immediately that a desktop theme would be good for her based on her requirement, so when she was up for the design, I immediately made one for her. I already had my practice for Paulie’s un-updated sketch blog, so the mock-up was simple enough to do. The blog design was made so fast it was a record for me. LOL. C. Kiminou’s New Layout!

The blog is actually Les blog des expos de Caroline Kiminou, a blog ported from Overblog to WordPress a few days back. I was approached a month back by the French artist Caroline and she asked me if I could do the design for her blog since she was planning to move to WordPress. I of course agreed and was even excited to work with her, as this is the first time I will be working with someone not Asian, American or Canadian.

The installation part was a tad difficult, since her WordPress blog is in French. Even though I could practically find my way around the WordPress dashboard in my sleep, the French terms assaulted my eyes and I was overwhelmed. Good thing there’s Google translate (albeit a little rough most of the times). But I’m thankful I took this job, because now I know a few French words. Haha! Oh my. I love my job!

Curious about Carline’s artworks and her new layout? Go click on the screen capture I took of her blog below and let her know what you think! She can speak good English, you know

Mye De Leon Has A New Site

Hmm… Not totally new. Marce Mye asked me sometime ago to code for her, and that I did. Being a talented scrapper, she didn’t need my help on the design side of things. Oh I tell you she is much better at me when it comes to designing. And I’m not saying that just because I dearly love her as a marce. LOL. Need proof? Go visit her site by clicking at the screen shot below. While you’re there, you  might also be interested in some of her gorgeous design kits, so go ahead and indulge!

Azumi’s New Kawaii Template!

When Bambie first approached me to ask for my services, I became very excited because her baby’s blog is one of the cutest blogs I’ve seen in the blogosphere.  Her main requirement was to have it stay as a kawaii baby blog template. I thought it would be a challenge to improve on what über cute theme she already had (besides, this is the first time I’m trying this full blast. ), and so when I finally got my internet connection back, I went kawaii-hunting.

As for cute overdose, I got a lot of it while working on this project, and needless to say, I had sooo much fun! I’m glad the colors Bambie requested to use are two of my favorite combination, pink and brown, and since I have tried and tested the yellow to work with those two, I also threw said color in the mix. This is also the first time I was asked to provide a background for the blog owner’s Twitter timeline, and I had fun doing that as well

Curious to see the newest kawaii theme in town? Go check out Azumi’s blog and see if it fits the bill! Just click on the screen capture I took below to land on the site and get ready for some serious royal kawaiiness. :stars:
